Hygrade's answer to those who want a reasonable priced, flexible mulling alternative. Reduces potential damage by strengthening mulled units during transportation. Multiple lengths available to eliminate scrap.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Roll formed, prime galvanized steel strip to facilitate mulling of multiple vinyl or wood windows. Pre-punched to ease attachment to windows. Provided in lengths from 16" to 84" to meet customer's needs while eliminating scrap. Sold FOB Hygrade location.
PRODUCT PROFILES
Provided with and without a lip to accommodate particular application. Standard width is 1.3". Customizing of width, leg dimensions and hole spacing available.
FABRICATION EXAMPLES
Lipped version is used to mull multiple double hung windows to each other. Lipped version can also be bent to mull circle tops to window units below. No Lip version facilitates mulling of window units on top of each other (double hung over double hung).
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Produced in .060" prime galvanized steel. Punched with 3/16" holes, 2.286" distance on center between holes. Overall tolerances of +/- .020" except +/- .25" length tolerance. Prime galvanized coating provides excellent corrosion resistance. No specified orientation of holes from cut of edge. Holes are 0.500" from opposite lip.
